Dec. 10, 2019: Argentina’s new President, Alberto Fernandez, 60, was sworn into office during the Presidential Inauguration Ceremony at National Congress on December 10, 2019 in Buenos Aires, Argentina along with new Vice-President Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner. Fernández pledged to bridge social divisions and to roll out a “massive” credit system with low rates to bolster domestic demand.
